FIRE fighters were called out after smoke was seen coming from a house at Gordon Terrace off the Old Wyche Road in Malvern. The call came at 3.30pm on Tuesday, December 7, and two fire engines from Malvern and one from Ledbury were sent out. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the house and used hose reels to extinguish the blaze, and a ventilation device was used to remove the smoke. No-one was injured in the incident.

FIRE crews were called out to a chimney fire at a house in Longdon at about 6.25pm on Friday, December 3. Appliances from Upton and Ledbury were sent to the scene, and the crews removed the wood-burning stove attached to the chimney from the premises. The stop message went out at 7.20pm.

TWO fire engines from Malvern were sent out after a chimney fire was reported at a house in Jennet Tree Lane, Madresfield, on Friday evening, December 3. The call came just before 5pm, and fire crews put out the fire and left at about 6.10pm.
