UPTON Parish Church is once again holding a Christmas Toy Appeal for life-limited children in the Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Donated toys should be suitable for both boys and girls, and items suitable for teenagers are always appreciated.
Appeal organiser Valerie Jolliffe said: “It can be very upsetting being ill and away from home and family at Christmas, and it helps to know that others are thinking about you at this time of year.”
Donations of toys should be taken to the church’s family service on Sunday (December 12). For more information call 01684 591092. Soft toys and toy guns are not suitable.
