A MAN and a woman will appear in court tomorrow (Tuesday, December 7) facing charges relating to three burglaries in a week in Malvern addresses, when items worth nearly £9,000 were stolen.
The man, who was recalled to prison in connection with other offences when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Friday, December 3, will now appear at Worcester Crown Court charged with three counts of burglary.
The burglaries include one at an address in Chance Lane, when cash, two iPods, one with attached speakers, and a Sony digital camera, worth a total of £650, were taken on November 25.
On November 30, a Playstation 3 and controller, a Panasonic DVD player, a black leather CD/DVD holder containing various disks, a gold, sapphire and diamond engagement ring and a gold wedding ring, with a total value of £1,700, were taken from a Birchwood Road address.
And on December 1, two cameras, three lenses and a flash gun, all Canon, a Dell laptop computer, a mini Mac hard drive, two iPods, a wallet containing cash, bank card and driving licence, and a camera bag worth a total of £6,500, were taken from an address in Church Road.
The woman, who will reappear at Worcester Magistrates Court, faces two charges of handling stolen goods – valued at a total of £5,650 – in Malvern on December 1.
