A MALVERN health resort has been voted one of the best spas in the UK in a new national award scheme.
The Zest Spa Awards were launched in April to find the top spas in the UK and Ireland for mind, body and beauty.
In addition to 4,000 votes from Zest magazine readers, a panel of expert judges trawled, tested, and examined hundreds of spas across Great Britain.
The judges included Jo Wood, founder of beauty brand Jo Wood Organics and wife of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood.
And MalvernSpa, on Townsend Way, has been named one of the top spas for gym lovers.
Ths spas' facilities include an 80-station high-tech gym, 30 studio classes a week, including Pilates and yoga, plus a salt grotto, the UK’s first natural Kelo sauna, fire and ice facilities, and indoor-outdoor hydrotherapy.
