A GROUP of Mother's Union members from Uganda visited Malvern yesterday (Thursday, July 8) as part of a visit to the Diocese of Worcester.
The eight visitors, from dioceses in Uganda linked with Worcester, visited Malvern Theatres in the morning before going to Lyttelton Well for lunch, where they heard about the work of the Well from general manager Roy Knightley. In the afternoon they were given a tour of the Priory.
In the evening the group were due to attend a meeting of the Mother's Union evening group at St Matthias Church at a member's home to share friendship and fellowship together around a shared meal.
Yesterday (Friday) they were due to visit the school after-school club at Castlemorton, and a youth club at Longdon.
And on Sunday, two of the visitors, Kate Muhwezi and Vasta Muhima will preach at the 10.30am service at the Priory.
