THE Malvern District Scouts’ annual St George’s Day parade and service will take place in Ledbury for the second successive year.
The event, which is taking place on Sunday, April 25, is usually attended by about 400 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and leaders, as well as numerous parents, friends and supporters.
The parade will assemble in St Katherine’s car park at 1.30pm on the day before marching to Ledbury Parish Church at 1.45pm.
Colours will form up and the party will enter the church for a service, which starts at 2.15pm.
At 3pm the parade will re-form and march off, assembling facing the War Memorial for an official address to close proceedings.
As ever the event will be attended by a number of local dignitaries, including the vice chairman of Malvern Hills District Council Mike Morgan and his wife Barbara.
