SPORTS science student Christian Edwards, from Malvern, has picked up a national award at the 2009 BASES Annual Student Conference.
Christian, 23, an MSc student of Sports Coaching Science at the University of Worcester, is also a teaching assistant at the university. He won the prestigious award for his presentation at the conference on ‘Relationships among muscle dysmorphia, appearance schema processing, body image disturbance and activating events’.
“It was a great achievement to win and I was delighted,” said Christian, who was one of nine students from Worcester University to present at the conference.
