IT is now easier than ever to find out about safety and crime prevention in the area following the launch of a new website for Malvern Hills Neighbourhood Watch.
The detailed website has been two years in the making, and has been created by chairman Paul Leopold, who undertook night classes to attain the skills required to build the site.
The website contains a wealth of features, including general crime reduction advice, alerts about local crime and information and maps about local policing areas.
Mr Leopold hopes the website will prove a valuable asset for the local Neighbourhood Watch operation.
“This is something that will help us to raise the profile of Neighbourhood Watch even further,” he said. “The site will be kept right up to date and internet usage is increasing tremendously so it is good to have a presence on the web.
Mr Leopold is also on the lookout for Neighbourhood Watch “champions” to serve in each area the scheme covers.
