A local care home resident and former Malvern Town football player Colin Higgs will make a special guest appearance at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium this weekend.
Colin, of Blossom House Care Home in Avenue Road, played for Town back in the 1960's and has followed the club closely ever since.
He will be attending the home league clash between his beloved Malvern and Royal Wootton Bassett Town on Saturday, 3pm kick-off.
Joining Colin will be his nephew Simon, whose father Tony also played for the club, and his son, Dominic.
Nicola Thompson, a Person-Centred Advisor at Blossom House, said: "Recently we did a project with the residents to make a passion mug and Colin had no hesitation in deciding that he wanted his to have the Malvern Town FC logo on it.
"In our group discussions he talks so passionately about the club. He speaks about past games and experiences with so much joy and pride and a real twinkle in his eye!
"He is certainly looking forward to watching the game live and giving the team his support."
