A COUNCIL meeting due to be held tonight (Monday) to decide a controversial planning application has been postponed because of the extreme weather conditions.
The special meeting of Malvern Hills District Council's southern area development control committee was being held to discuss a planning application submitted by one of MHDC's own members, Coun David Watkins.
Coun Watkins has applied to convert houses at Worcester Road, Malvern Link, into flats and build five new town houses on the same site.
The plan has proved controversial, with local people objecting in large numbers.
The meeting of the executive committee due to take place tomorrow (Tuesday) has also been postponed.
Now new dates have yet been set for either of these meetings.
