BUPA's Court House Nursing Home, Court Road, Barnards Green, Malvern is looking forward to hosting a tea party this Sunday, July 1, during Alzheimer's Awareness Week.
The event is being held for the residents, their relatives and carers from 2.30-4.30pm.
Becky Crane, unit manager of Bredon House, said: "We hope that everyone has an enjoyable afternoon. The Alzheimer's Society aims to reach out and make contact with carers and people with dementia who need support. We hope that by holding this tea party that we can raise awareness of the society and help them to do this."
There are currently 700,000 people with dementia in the UK. Numbers are set to rise to more than a million by 2025. Alzheimer's Awareness Week is the annual health campaign organised by Alzheimer's Society.
