A FAMILY has achieved the unhappy record of being flooded ten years running.
Amanda and Dave Mason, of Belmont Road, Malvern, were again left with water in the basement this week.
Last August was the worst when they had to call out the fire brigade to pump out the basement despite having installed their own pump for that purpose.
Amanda, 37, said on Tuesday: "This year the pump works but we still had a foot of water in the basement which has ruined our floor. Only this time we can't claim on insurance because they have put the excess up to £600."
The Mason's home is the only house on the road to suffer the effects of flooding. The drains are situated outside their house which is low-lying.
