MALVERN Town Council has deferred putting in another planning application for allotments off Greenfields Road.
At Tuesday's meeting, members were asked to approve making a new application for 23 allotments but referred the matter back to the council's operations committee.
An earlier application for 48 allotments had previously been rejected by Malvern Hills District Council and was opposed by residents wanting to keep the land for recreation.
