THERE was a mixed reaction on Tuesday as Malvern Hills District Council adopted its official plan for the coming year.
The Council Plan sets out its achievements, performance and key objectives for the coming year.
Coun Tom Wells said that, while the latest plan was an improvement on previous years, he felt some of the council's priorities - local homes for local people, reducing impact on the environment, improving access to quality public spaces, supporting children and young people and rural regeneration needed a re-think.
"There needs to be a fair bit of work done to establish what their priorities actually are," he said.
His comments found favour with council leader Serena Croad, who said she looked forward to all 38 councillors contributing to setting future priorities.
Councillors voted to adopt the plan in the interim, before the priorities are reviewed in September.
