PRIORY Park reverberated to the sound of Christian music on Saturday afternoon, when the town's second Music X festival took place.
The event built on the success of last summer's festival, and audiences thoroughly enjoyed it, said organisers.
The Rev. Ian Spencer, of Churches Together In Malvern, said: "We were lucky with the weather. The rain held off all afternoon while all the bands were performing.
A range of acts, including Sarah Tummey, Malvern Youth Christian Choir, Vital Spark and The Message performed, with Carol Lee Sampson headlining.
"There was a really good atmosphere, a really happy and joyful time," said Mr Spencer. "There was something for everyone, and quite a lot of people I spoke to were visitors who didn't know it was on, just came across it and stayed for an hour or two."
Youngsters enjoyed the prayer labyrinth and made pictures for a giant mural, which will be assembled by artist Maureen Gamble and exhibited later this year.
