I WISH to express my thanks to the Royal Worcestershire Hospital for an urgent appointment in five days with the acute stroke unit as a day patient.

I saw a doctor twice, had two scans, an ECG, blood test and a prescription collected – all in one day.

I was treated with great kindness and had apologies for some delays over unbooked procedures.

Let us be grateful for the staff of our hospitals working so hard in the face of overwhelming numbers coming through their doors.
