YET again local residents of both Colwall and Ledbury must fight a campaign to stop a planning application that makes little sense to anyone but the applicants.
The industrial-sized poultry units proposed for Chances Pitch should be refused.
The putrid smell, the toxic particles, the night-time lorry movements through a known pinch point at Ledbury, noise and light pollution are some of the "joys" that await us if this is approved.
However, the strongest argument against this is simply the location – it is within close proximity to and line of sight from British Camp.
Areas of outstanding natural beauty and heritage sites have protected status for a reason, and the need for chicken is not a strong enough argument to ruin such local and national treasures.
We ask for your support to help us stop this.
