THE urgent need for affordable homes in the locality and nationally was recently debated in Malvern at Lansdowne Crescent Methodist Church.
A gathering of more than 100 people engaged in a lively way with a panel including a director of the local housing association, a representative of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) and three of the local parliamentary candidates.

The Church is planning an autumn question time public debate on the local NHS.
This is all part of a church public engagement programme on social justice issues which particularly affect disadvantaged and vulnerable people.
