I LIVE in Campion Drive which is a cul de sac and part of Bluebell and Brookfarm Estate.
I recently received a letter from MHDC saying that up to 63 dwellings are going to be built in a field off Charlock Road which is part of the cul de sac and their access in and out will be through Charlock Road and Campion Drive.
There is only one access onto Guarlford Road from the whole of this estate.
63 new dwellings could mean at least 100 more cars a day coming and going.
There is another access available, Mill Lane. The new houses woudl have their own access onto Guarlford Road and not clog up the already busy existing one.
So why is this being allowed to happen I ask? Objections have been raised but no avail.
Don't tell me that Mill Lane is an AONB because that has not made any difference in other places.
It seems that the powers that be e.g. Council, planning inspectors and builders don't care about people or their feelings or views, just so long as they can build what they want and where they want.
