LAST week I attended Worcestershire Royal Hospital (pictured left) for a routine scan and was dealt with very quickly.
I remarked to the nurse, as I was leaving, how efficient they had been.
“Ah,” she said. “Two people have not turned up this afternoon and we have a long waiting list.”
We complain about our hospitals so much, but they cannot carry out their work if selfish people fail to keep appointments.
