BRITISH FILMS OF THE 1950s, 1960s AND 1970s
Ledbury film buffs are looking forward to the WEA and Ledbury Film Club’s annual Film Study Day at the Market Theatre. This year our tutor Michael Pyke will take us through three decades of British cinema, examining extracts from Ice Cold in Alex (1955), The Lady Killers (1955), Whistle Down the Wind (1961) and Far From the Madding Crowd (1967). This will be followed by a screening of Nicolas Roeg’s 1967 film Don’t Look Now starring Julie Christie. Please join us!
On Saturday 19 November from 10.30am to approximately 4.45pm at The Market Theatre, Market Street, Ledbury HR8 2AQ
Fee: £20 For more details ring 01531 633345.
