Later this evening, over 650 professionals will be welcomed to the Chamber Business Awards 2019, sponsored by FOLK2FOLK.

Taking place at the University of Worcester Arena, the celebrations will put a spotlight on the incredible success stories from businesses of all sectors and sizes in the two counties.

I’m very much looking forward to greeting all guests this evening, before handing over to our fantastic host for the evening, Celia Delaney.

Attendees will enjoy a welcome drink on arrival and are invited to make use of DRPG’s drinks bar whilst networking with other finalists, before having their photograph taken at the popular photo booth.

After indulging in a delicious three-course dinner with plenty of evening entertainment, the winners of the Chamber Business Awards will finally be revealed.

The evening will culminate with the announcement of the ‘winner of winners’ for the 2019 awards, where guests are then invited to join us at the After Party, sponsored by TechTeam, held at Bolero Bar.

All finalists of the Chamber Business Awards 2019 are automatically entered into the national British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Awards if there is a corresponding category. Last year, six businesses from Herefordshire and Worcestershire were crowned as winners in the West Midlands’ heat of the Chamber Business Awards 2018. ETL Systems Limited, Kingspan Insulation, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, OLPRO, Phoenix Group and Worcestershire Training Provider Association all went on to represent the counties nationally – with Phoenix Group winning the national Workplace Wellbeing Award.

Finally, if you are unable to join us in person tonight, don’t forget to follow our live tweeting of the awards ceremony @HW_Chamber where we will also be announcing the winners.

Good luck to all of the finalists for this year’s awards, and I look forward to seeing you later this evening!
