I AM delighted to reveal that six businesses from across the two counties have been crowned as winners in the West Midlands heat of the national Chamber Business Awards 2018.

Now in their 15th year, the Awards are a highlight of the business calendar, recognising the key role that local businesses play in driving the UK economy.

The winners for the regional Chamber Business Awards are:

Best Use of Technology – Kingspan Insulation

Digital Communications Campaign of the Year – OLPRO

Education and Business Partnership Award – Worcestershire Training Provider Association

Employer of the Year – Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

Export Business of the Year – ETL Systems Limited

Workplace Wellbeing Award – Phoenix Group

The Chamber Business Awards are the perfect opportunity to celebrate the local business communities’ achievements, and really appreciate the outstanding performance of companies in the two counties.

The regional success follows these companies having already won their category in the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards in June

All six companies will now go forward to represent the West Midlands in the national finals, which take place in London on Thursday, November 29.

I am pleased that despite the challenging times, local businesses are continuing to show their adaptability, resilience and strength – which has been recognised by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC).

Kingspan Insulation, OLPRO, Worcestershire Training Provider Association, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, ETL Systems Limited and Phoenix Group have been invited to an exclusive Awards Presentation at Stanbrook Abbey on Monday 19 November.

The event will celebrate the finalists’ hard work, before they are presented with a certificate to mark their success.

I look forward to seeing Herefordshire and Worcestershire represented on a national stage, and I wish all six businesses the best of luck.
