BUSINESSES are being invited to Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce's Business Expo being held later this week.

The Autumn Business Expo takes place this Thursday, October 11, between 9.30am and 2.30pm at Three Counties Showground.

The Expo, in association with Hewett Recruitment, provides an opportunity to raise the profile of businesses and make new local connections.

The event features a Food and Drink Producers Zone, the popular Networking Breakfast, sponsored by Worcestershire Business Central, which welcomes Mark Stansfeld, chairman of giffgaff and chairman of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and presentations.

Dr John Collins, commercial director at SynbiCITE, delivers the morning’s first presentation when he will be speaking on the future of innovation and the strategy to a sustainable food production, and how guests can educate and collaborate.

Later in the morning a second seminar will be led by Mo Bro’s, as featured on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den. Mo Bro‘s began in-house making its own formulations of beard oils, balms, butters and waxes with natural ingredients and three years later the business turns over £1.3m selling to an international audience.

Places for the seminars are selling out fast. Anyone interested in attending should email events@hwchamber.co.uk.

Dale Parmenter, chief executive at Drp Group, said: “It’s great to see such vibrant and active events like the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo.

“If you are a business in the region, then you need to be seen and out there. The networking and contacts have exceeded our expectations and we have a lot to follow up on.”
