A PERSHORE-based firm has made the regional shortlist of Natwest's Great British Entrepreneur Award.
Border in the Box offers garden design templates in a gift tin. The templates provide easy to follow instructions and are perfect for anyone who wants to create their own garden.
Border in the Box founder and owner Nikki Hollier has been nominated in the Start up Entreprenuer of the Year Category. Nikki moved into garden design after a 20 year career in IT and retrained at Pershore Horticultural College, before winning a Silver Medal and the People’s Choice Award at her first show garden at RHS Malvern in 2016.
Since then, the firm was founded, and it has continued to grow.
Gordon Merrylees, head of entrepreneurship at NatWest, said: "I want to thank all of the entrepreneurs who entered and congratulate those who have been shortlisted.
“These awards celebrate businesses that are the lifeblood of the UK economy."
The Midlands regional winners are to be announced at a gala final, being held in Birmingham.
Past winners of the awards include David Buttress of Just Eat, Julie Deane of The Cambridge Satchel Company and James Watt of BrewDog.
