These results are a tribute to the collective efforts of students, staff and parents and deserve to be celebrated without the usual carping debate about standards. All students and teachers can do is to prepare to the best of their ability for the assessments set by the examining boards. The Chase’s 2012 Sixth Form results again demonstrated that our students and staff are working harder than ever together to prepare effectively for the exams and this is an unquestioned cause for congratulations all round.
The pass rate was 99.5% and more than half of all grades were between A* and B.
