A charity that helps cancer sufferers across the three counties will receive a boost thanks to a special open day at an historic Gloucestershire house and gardens.
Westonbirt School House and Gardens will open its doors on Sunday, September 23, in aid of the Maggie’s centre in Cheltenham which helps people with cancer across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
The house has a famous arboretum created by its former owner, Robert Holford. It has a restored
Italian Garden and early Victorian herbaceous borders, a camellia house and pergola.
The garden will be open from 11am and 5pm and entry is £5. Entry to both the house and garden is £7, and for £10 tea is also included in the entry to the house and garden. Children under 12 go free.
