THE Government has spent millions imploring us to eat five-a-day.

The junk food companies have spent a bigger fortune getting us to buy their products.

The old adage, ‘You are what you eat’ rings true, as the effects of this indulgence means both a huge burden on the overloaded NHS and an early death.

As we pay for this out of our taxes it penalises those of us who do eat healthily.

The truth of it is we have a food industry that cares not a jot about health, and seemingly a health industry that cares not a jot about food, for if it did, there would be action against those that abuse themselves and these junk food pedlars.
