I SEE from your front page on July 20 (Delight as our trains get bigger) that our MP Harriett Baldwin confirms she has had the pleasure of travelling in one of the new Adelante trains on the Cotswold Line, returning to Malvern having had lunch with Her Majesty.
Well, I do not like to name drop, but I’m having lunch with Her Majesty next week and then she will actually be taking me to the railway station in order for me to travel on one of the new trains.
In fact, Her Majesty – my wife – will then wave goodbye to me. She has been practising for weeks.
