IT is extremely concerning that steps are being considered to reduce further car parking spaces in Barnards Green.
Last week I found a few had been trimmed off, in my view unnecessarily, near the entrance to Court Nursing Home.
A feature of community centres, like Barnards Green, is the tough fight they have against the supermarkets and retail estates which inevitably have acres of car parking.
Don’t those who rule our lives want to see such centres thrive with the individuality they bring to our shopping experience?
I very much agree with Jane Knowles’ eminently sensible suggestion that buses routed to go out through Court Road should use the big bus stop across the road and go round the roundabout an additional time.
