WELL that's it - London 2012 is all over and to mark the occasion a host of pop stars took to the Olympic stadium.
George Michael, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, the Spice Girls, Muse, the Kaiser Chiefs, Fatboy Slim, Beady Eye, Queen, Take That and The Who were among the acts during the theatrical extravaganza, directed by Kim Gavin - the man behind Take That's mind-blowing stadium tours.
Also on the often surreal bill were comedian Russell Brand, model Kate Moss, actor Timothy Spall and Monty Python legend Eric Idle who sang Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.
But what did you think? How did it compare to Danny Boyle's much-lauded opening ceremony? Was it a fitting end to the two-week Olympic Games?
