IF your shed is overflowing, your back yard is a dumping ground for clutter or your garden is hidden under a pile of rubble, help could be at hand.

Your Malvern Gazette and Ledbury Reporter have teamed up with Worcestershire company Forest, the UK’s leading manufacturer of decorative garden timber products, to offer one lucky reader the chance to improve their outdoor space.

Forest’s annual campaign promotes autumn’s answer to a garden ‘spring clean’ – the National Tidy Garden Campaign.

The Tidy Garden Campaign aims to encourage people to tidy their outside spaces, advise people on effective ways to tidy and store and inspire people to help tidy up other’s gardens too.

To kick off the campaign, Forest wants to do its bit for the local community and ‘tidy up’ a garden in need of refreshing.

A team from Forest will spend a day working in the winner’s garden, completing tasks such as cutting the grass, trimming back hedges, mending fences and clearing litter away.

The winner will also be provided with a selection of popular Forest products, which could include sheds, log stores, bike stores, garden chests and compost bins, to store away clutter and keep items safe.

You can enter yourself or nominate someone else. The deserving winner could be the garden of a local charity, hospice or just a local person who particularly deserves a bit of green-fingered help.

To enter, send in a photograph of your garden with your name, garden location, e-mail address and 50 words describing why you think the garden deserves the ‘Forest Tidy Up’.

Send in entries by post to ‘Forest Tidy Up’ Forest Marketing Team, Unit 291 & 296 Hartlebury Trading Estate, Hartlebury, Worcestershire DY10 4JB or e-mail your entry to info@forestgarden.co.uk, marked ‘Forest Tidy Up’ in the subject header. The competition closes on Friday, August 10, at 6pm.
