TWO women from Malvern are organising a vintage fund-raiser in aid of two good causes.

Lisa Clarke and Kirsten Jeffrey- Palmer are hosting an afternoon tea party at the 2nd Malvern Scout Hut in Spring Lane between 2pm and 4pm tomorrow in aid of Malvern Special Families and SupportWorks.

Mrs Clarke said: “For two hours ladies can indulge in all things vintage.

“Our dress code is vintage and we have two vintage cars to greet guests on their arrival, accompanied by some Glenn Miller classics.

“There will be time for some shopping as we have beautiful vintage gifts on sale and then we ask our ladies to take a seat as afternoon tea will be served to them.”

A host of local businesses are supporting the event and there will be a raffle with prizes including a £50 voucher for Ask restaurant and tours of Malvern’s Morgan Motors factory.

Malvern Special Families supports more than 100 local families whose children have special needs or disabilities, and SupportWorks is a not for profit organisation supporting people who have suffered domestic or violent abuse.

All proceeds from the event will be doubled by Microsoft, who Mrs Clarke’s husband works for.
