A CHURCH near Malvern is offering people a chance to try out the art of bell-ringing.
The bells ringers at Madresfield Church are holding two open days to encourage people to have a go.
Stephanie Smith-Cooper said: “You don’t have to be a church-goer to appreciate the tradition or to give it a go.
You don’t have to be musical or strong, you just need your ears to listen, plus the ability to count to six. There aren’t even any real age limits as bell ringers can be as young as nine or ten and as old as you like.”
The open evenings are on Monday, June 11, and Monday, June 25, but wouldbe ringers are also welcome to come along any Monday from 7.30pm to 9pm.
Anyone interested can contact tower captain Geoff Titmuss on 01684 572495.
