THE hills really will be alive with music tomorrow as a town centre shop presents a local take on an international celebration of independent music.
To mark Record Store Day a number of acts are set to play Carnival Records in Church Street, while shoppers and vinyl fans can leaf through more than 200 exclusive releases.
Already confirmed to appear from about 9.30am are John Harley, Colwall singer-songwriter Sam Eden, Gypsy Lee Pistolero, Worcester’s Becy Rose, Vo Fletcher and Catherine Howe and the May Dolls, who close proceedings at about 4pm.
Chris Heard, of Carnival Records, said: “It’s great to be able to showcase some local talent.”
