MEMBERS and visitors were in festive mood for their Christmas Party. The evening started with a glass of mulled wine followed by an excellent supper cooked by members followed by Christmas Pudding. They were entertained by the Ledbury Handbell Ringers who played seasonal tunes and carols.
A cheque for £250 was presented to Laura Hone from Growing Point who thanked members very much for their generosity, and said they relied on fund raising to keep the project going, as they received no government funding.
Rosemary, President, distributed the programmes for 2012 and Jenny Rees reminded members that there will be Pilates Classes starting on January 9 and Zumba on Wednesday evenings, both in the Parish Hall.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 7.30 pm in the Parish Hall, when Jill Salmonds will be giving a talk on Chinese Textiles. For further information please telephone 01531 640 622. New members are always welcome.
