Well, it wasn't quite "In the Bleak Mid Winter" but it was certainly cold, wet and windy outside on Sunday afternoon, BUT inside Christ Church what a lovely warm and inviting atmosphere as The Malvern Chase Brass Band were the stars of our annual Carol Concert. They played everyone's favourites and, with the encouragement of our very own Maestro, Canon Harold Goddard, the audience sang with great gusto! It was a joy to see over 70 people have such a good time in our lovely candle lit Church and enjoy hot Spiced Berry Punch, hot chocolate and tea and coffee for the more conventional, and the obligatory mince pies in the interval.

We are very grateful to the Band for providing such heart warming entertainment and we certainly started our Christmas the traditional way. Over £100 was taken in the retiring collection and this will be shared between the Band's chosen charity, Home Start and Christ Church repairs fund.

Please come along again and enjoy our magical Children's Society Christingle Service here at Christ Church on Christmas Eve at 4pm where children of every age can light a specially made Christingle orange as our Church is lit by candle light, a great way to start your Christmas celebrations.

On Christmas Day we have our Communion Service at 8amand on New Year's Day our 11am Communion Service followed by seasonal refreshments and mince pies!
