ON Friday, February 18 at Bosbury Parish Hall, Flicks in the Sticks will show Tamara Drewe, starring Gemma Arterton. When journalist, Tamara Drewe, returns to the village of her youth, her past catches up with her when she has to face an old flame. Life for the locals is thrown upside down and the village is transformed into a ferment of temptation, seduction and tawdry gossip. Doors open at 7.15pm for 7.30pm and tickets are £4.

On Saturday, February 19, our regular Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be held from 10.30am to noon at Bosbury Parish Hall. We now have a regular core of local food suppliers, including fresh vegetables from Little Marcle Farm Shop, as well as stalls offering craft and Fairtrade goods. Fairtrade refreshments will also be available. Do come and meet friends and neighbours for a coffee and a chat. Entry as always is free.

On Sunday, February 20, at 10am, Children’s Church, an informal service with music and activities will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. All are welcome.
