BE sure to secure your tickets for Powick Players’ long awaited pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs being performed in Powick Parish Hall during the half term week, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 23, Friday, February 25 and Saturday, February 26. With twenty-six in the cast the panto promises to show case local talent! All the traditional panto characters are there from the dame to the wicked queen and her lovely step daughter Snow White, who is saved by the dwarfs, and who falls in love with Prince Lancelot. There is plenty of audience participation and chorus singing, so come along and enjoy the performance which is directed by Joy Hadley.

Powick Ramblers’ next walk is on Thursday, February 24, meeting at the church in Flyford Grafton off the A422 (GR961556).The five mile walk includes Grafton Wood and is on good paths with few stiles and is led by Don (01905 820615).

A Coffee Morning is being held in St James’ church, Callow End on Saturday, March 12 from 10am till noon. There is bric-a-brac, a raffle, cakes and books, all in aid of the Barnabas fund which supports persecuted Christians throughout the world.
