During the past few months Death has claimed many prominent residents, and now another well-known name must be added to the list of those who have gone. Early on Monday morning, Mr James Ransome Corder, of Stoneycroft, the Wyche, passed peacefully away in his sleep at Bournemouth. The sad news has been received with widespread regret where Mr Corder has many friends and was highly esteemed by all classes.

It was home-from-home for members of the Malvernian Cyclo-Cross Club when they held their second annual dinner at Hollands Cafe, Callow End. During the season, the club, which holds its races on the Old Hills, uses the premises as a dressing room.
