ON Friday, December 10 Bosbury School are holding their Christmas Fair in the School Hall from 2pm to 4pm. There will be a special visit from Santa. Mulled wine and mince pies will be available. Also there is a Grand Christmas Draw with many good prizes, including the School’s famous Christmas hamper as first prize and a Children’s hamper as second prize. Draw tickets can be bought from Bosbury School, Bosbury Barbers and the Bell Inn, Bosbury.

Friday, December 10 at Bosbury Parish Hall, Flicks in the Sticks show Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, starring Emma Thompson. Nanny McPhee arrives to help a harassed young mother while her husband is away at war, but finds that her new charges are fighting a war of their own against two spoiled cousins, who have come to live with them and refuse to leave. Tickets are £4 each. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

On Saturday, December 11 our regular Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be held from 10.30am to noon at Bosbury Parish Hall. Our core of local food suppliers now includes Little Marcle Farm Shop supplying fresh vegetables. At our Christmas Market all our stallholders will have seasonal produce to tempt you and they look forward to your support. Do come and meet friends and neighbours for a coffee and a chat. Entry as always free. New stalls are always welcome, space permitting, but pre-booking is essential. On Sunday, December 12 at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury, Parish Communion will be celebrated at 9.30am. Everyone is very welcome.
