Cher Lloyd does it again on X Factor

Last night the 17-year-old sang her favourite song – Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind – reintroducing her trademark rap style following impressive singing skills last week which silenced her doubters.

Judge Simon Cowell was the only one to criticise the youngster yesterday, labelling her performance “disappointing”.

And our ballot about her performance last night suggested she didn’t impress you too much either - but the voting public disagreed and she was put through to the next round just moments ago.
