AT the July meeting Joan Copeland, a Reader at St Mathias Church, gave a talk about discipleship, trees and prayer stones. Joan read some of her charming poems about God and the natural world and explained her use of prayer stones. She showed us a basket of painted stones which help her to pray for certain individuals and she encouraged us to use prayer stones in future.
