THE garden meeting on Tuesday, July 6 was held at the home of June Mason and on a fine July evening members were welcomed onto June’s attractive patio with glasses of Bucks Fizz and nibbles.
The evening’s speaker was Hilary Twigg, who talked about taking cuttings and propagation. Members listened with interest and many questions were asked.
Afterwards we were all treated to strawberries and cream, together with glasses of wine, provided by Janet Davies, Shirley and Chris to mark their last summer evening whilst on the Committee. Cath attended to the Raffle as always and thanks was given to June for hosting the evening.
