THIS is a good week for walking on the hills and commons, lift your spirits with the first signs of summer seeing a swallow or two. Bird migration should accelerate towards the end of the week with mild south westerly winds and birds such as warblers either use the Hills to refuel or settle to breed. Two species that will be using the Hills as a pit stop are the Ring Ouzel and the Wheatear.
