A renowned violinist is set to perform in her hometown.
Malvern-born musician Eleanor Percy will perform at Elmslie House on Sunday, September 20, with the Quattro String Quartet.
The concert, starting at 3pm, will feature works by Mozart, Smetana, and contemporary composer Libby Croad.
The programme celebrates the theme of friendship, with each piece reflecting relationships between composers, musicians, or within the quartet itself.
Miss Percy, who began her musical journey locally, said: “Malvern has always felt like home. I was a pupil at The Chase High School during the 1990s and led the school’s string quartet under the guidance of our incredible music teacher Merren Anthony.
"That’s when I first discovered the joy of making music with other people, so performing here is always especially meaningful.”
The Quattro String Quartet, consisting of Eleanor Percy, Sarah Wormell Evans, Tamasin Cline, and Bryony Moody, has performed together for more than 20 years.
Miss Percy’s international career has seen her perform at major venues across the UK and beyond.
