A teenager who was arrested after a "serious assault" in Malvern has been bailed as police continue to hunt for more suspects

The 17-year-old boy had been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a man in his 50s sustained a head injury during an incident on Elgar Avenue and Martin Close last Thursday night (February 26).

The man was taken to hospital on the night, where he was said to be stable and conscious.

At the time of the incident, detective inspector Ben Pearson said they were looking for further suspects and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
