AS Taylor Swift releases her highly-anticipated new album, we look back at the time she invited a Worcestershire popstar on stage.
Cher Lloyd, who grew up in Malvern, joined the American megastar on stage in Los Angeles, California as a special guest on The Red Tour in 2013.
Introducing the former X Factor star, Swift said: "She is a long way away from home, she is actually from the UK.
"She sings this song that has been in my head ever since it came out last summer.
"I know you probably know it, the feeling when you break up with somebody and then you're like 'ugh, I shouldn't have done that, I want you back'.
"Well guys, how do you feel that Cher Lloyd is here to perform?"
The question was met by huge cheers from the sold-out arena, before Lloyd came on stage and performed her hit single 'Want U Back'."
Swift encouraged the crowd to "scream" the bridge of the song as loud as they could.
The following year, Lloyd, told Digital Spy that she had been "so nervous" ahead of the performance, even forgetting her lines during rehearsals.
Lloyd later had her big break in the USA, duetting on records with major American stars, including Demi Lovato and T.I.
It came after she finished fourth on the 2010 series of X Factor.
Swift, who is the highest-grossing live music artist, releases her twelfth album The Life of a Showgirl today (October 3).
She has her own connections to Worcestershire, having visited The Fleece Inn in Bretforton "multiple times".
