Search the Public Notice PortalTEENAGERS have been warned after they were caught trespassing in a derelict nightclub wearing Christmas hats.
Banging and crashing was heard coming from the old Priors Croft Nightclub on Grange Road on Wednesday evening (August 27).
When police arrived, they spotted teenage boys running out of the building wearing Christmas hats.
The boys initially managed to evade PC Dave Olczak and PCSO Collette Carpenter by jumping over a fence on the other side of the building.

Less than half an hour later, the teenagers returned to the building and, despite another attempt to flee police, two of them were caught by PC Olczak and PC Kevin Johns.
Malvern Hills Police said that the two teenagers were warned of the dangers of the building, which they say is in a "dangerous state", with rotten flooring and unstable supporting joists.
The pair were then taken home.

A spokesperson for Malvern Hills Police said: "Please warn your children not to go near this building.
"The biggest concern with buildings such as this one is that they are extremely dangerous to enter and it is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt or killed while exploring.
"This particular building is one that officers from Malvern's safer neighbourhood team are paying regular spot check visits to and ensuring that we surround the building before entering the grounds, to ensure that trespassers are dealt with accordingly."
The building has been out of use since 2020, after the owner of the nightclub closed to spend more time with his family.
Prior to being a nightclub, the site had also been the home of the Malvern Hills Trust, which is responsible for care and maintenance of the hills and commons. The organisation is now situated in a building next door.
Originally built as a Victorian mansion for landowner Oliver Mason in the 1850s, the building was previously known as Reginald's Tower.
In November 2024, Malvern Hills District Council approved plans by Hillrow Homes to turn the site into six flats.
An old coach house at the back will be demolished to make way for two additional apartments.
