A TAP has been taken from an historic clocktower in what appears to be a bizarre overnight theft.

The tap at North Malvern Clock Tower was taken overnight on August 8.

It comes just six months after the tap was replaced.

A spokesperson for Malvern Town Council said: "We are incredibly disappointed that this has happened so soon after we had replaced the tap, preventing the wider community from enjoying the facility.

"We do hope that whoever did this returns the tap to be fixed."
